The Coca Cola Eye

The London Eye is a cantilevered
observation wheen on the South Bank of the River Thams. It is Europes
tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popul paid
tourist attraction in the UK with over 3.75 million visitors annually.
The structure is 443 ft. tall and the wheel has a diameter of of 541
feet or 160 meters. It is currently the third tallest Ferris wheel in
the world, after the Star of Nanchang, the Singapore Flyers, and the
High Roller in Las Vegas, which are 16 to 24 ft (5-7.6 meters) higher.
The greater height, however, comes from the platforms upon which these
wheels rest, and so it remains the world's tallest cantilevered
observation deck. It is the second highest vantage point in London,
surpsees on by the 800 (245 meter) high observation deck of The Shard a
super skyscraper that opened in 2013. Originally sponsored by British
Airways, the Eye is now under the sponsorship of Coca Cola, proving the
things do go better with Coke! The
