The Ravens

Ravens are one of the most famous sights at the Tower of London. Legend has it that Charles II was warned that should the Ravens leave the Tower, the monarchy would fall, and he therefore ordered that henceforth a small population should always remain. A fairly safe wager, as the birds all have their wings clipped on one side, preventing flight. Those cagey monarchs!
