Grand Canal
The Grand Canal is the Central waterway that splits the island of Venice and it is the waterway that links the far-flung canal system for which the island is famous. The vaporettos or water taxis ply these waters, and often provide the most direct access to one's destination. Below is a 360 panorama of the canal, shot from the docks nearby the Rialto Market.
