The Sacred Quadrangle
The most recognized and
photographed
section of the expansive ruins at Polonnaruwa is the Sacred Quadrangle,
a series of religious building tied the the kingdom's Buddhist past.
They are also among the best preserved. We have two tours of the sacred
quadrangle. The first, shown below, is a map-based tour of the
